Richard Thomas lectured on humor in Bob Dylan's songs at the Empress Theater in Vallejo and Bob Dylan and the Art of Songwriting at the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art and Politics in Santa Rosa, California. Peter Larson provided piano accompaniment to the receptions following the film in both locations. Cast members Christina Schlesinger, Peter Gabel, Susannah Wood, Wendy Silk and Ron Goldberg were joined by Cliffie classmates Mary Vogt and Vivi Tallman and a throng of locals for the first west coast screenings of UNDERGROUND 68.
